2Dinese is NOT a word processor and yet it provides a very elementary word processing facility. This, in fact, is not part of the program. This little option was written because the interaction with the program, as we shall see later, requires the definition of a number of small text data files as input information. Since frequent switching between programs can sometimes be irritating I wrote this option for my own convenience and decided to leave it temporarily. The idea is that it will eventually be replaced by an Open Doc module.
For user's convenience and consistency with the Macintosh User Interface, text and PICT files, created by 2Dinese bear the "ttxt" signature, that is a TeachText document.

2. The "Open" command:

Opens a saved file. Could be a plain text or a 2Dinese format file.

3. The "Close" command:

Closes the topmost window.

4. The "Save" command:

Saves the topmost document in its appropriate format (text format if it is a text document or a 2Dinese format if it is a Process window.

5. The "Save as..." command:

As the previous but with a specifiable name.

6. The "Export as PICT" command:

Creates a PICT file from the topmost document.

Exports the simulated structure in a text file which has the same format as the "Initial Structure Data Format" (see I/O Formats).
